We’re not talking about rich people who have a million and a half bucks to spend on a casket. We’re talking about your local casket company making money.

Thurman funeral homes are the same way. They make money by selling a casket. I know this because my cousin, who is a member of the Thurman company, has a large family and they all have a large family casket. They all had to go to the same funeral. We all had to go to the same funeral.

Why is this relevant? Because there is a large, growing number of companies that make a killing by selling caskets. The Thurman funeral homes are those companies’ worst nightmare.

There is such a thing as “bad publicity,” and there is such a thing as “good publicity.” As the New York Times explains, “publicity is the key to successful sales.” A good public image can make or break a company. The same is true of caskets. If you’re the only one who’s seen it, you won’t really care.

In a few years the funeral industry will likely be one of the best-paying industries in the United States. The key to selling caskets is to ensure that they are widely viewed. There are a lot of people out there who are not only interested in viewing the casket, but also in buying it. Folks will be happy to pay much more for a “perfect” casket, but most of them are going to prefer to pay less for the actual casket.
