The north county home remodeling job is a very rewarding one because you get to take on the challenge of a new home construction project. The home remodeling job is also a job that we have done before, so we know the process and what to expect. It is definitely an exciting and challenging task… but one that takes on a nice rhythm as you get to work each day.
The home we’ve remodeled is a two-story house, built in 2005. It’s not that long ago since we built it, but it feels like it was more than a decade ago. The house was built on a river with a boat dock and a small beach. Now our job is to build a new home that sits on a hilltop with beautiful views of the lake and the lake’s inlet.
Before I started working at North County Family Realty we were a team of two. My role was to work in the marketing department and assist in setting up the new website for the company. That job ended when the new website was launched. I was also in charge of the day-to-day administrative duties of the company.
I was also a part-time writer at the time. Writing for my own website was very sporadic. The website was launched in the spring of 2007. In September of 2007 I was offered a full-time position with the company. I accepted the position and have been working there ever since.
I moved to south county in the summer of 2007. My sister and I moved into a single-wide trailer which we lived in all our lives. I’ve been commuting and working from home ever since. I commute to my job in south county roughly once a week.
Well, what about me? It’s possible that you have one or two jobs now. Even if you are writing full-time, you are still in the same place, working from the same location.
In the same way that I have two jobs now, I have two different homes now, but they are probably in the same city. If you live in North County (or any city near it), you are probably still living in the same apartment you grew up in or house you grew up in.
That’s called “time-shifting”. It’s something that most people don’t really understand. You get it when you’re living in the same place every day for five years. That means that you’re in the same place every day, but you have to move your stuff, move your business, and move your job. When you do this, you have to move each of these things to a new location.
It’s a big step, but I really love going to my neighbors houses, because theres always something nice to see. You can see pictures of your old place, which is nice, but that doesnt help your neighborhood. Theres always something nice to see when you move into a new neighborhood.
