As you can see by the photo, my kitchen was made out of hardwood floors, with a large granite island. I also added a new butcher block counter space with a granite backsplash, new cabinets, and new hardware. I also painted the cabinets in the new kitchen white.
My kitchen improvements were completed by the end of the month, but I did have to purchase kitchen accessories to finish the project, so for the most part I was a bit late. My husband is also a handy man, so I also purchased a few things to help me get things done faster.
While I’m not totally sure what this project costs, I know that once I’ve made it into the home and I’m spending money on upgrades I’ll be in a better position to budget for the rest of the project. Also, because I’m a bit behind, I’m going to set up a budget as well to track what I have spent so far.
