I’m so glad that even with the bad economy and the rising cost of labor, I can add a few more years on my current kitchen renovation project. This is a place that I wouldn’t have dreamed about going to if it wasn’t for the extra money that I’ve saved. The kitchen has been completely transformed and it looks amazing.
This is only the second kitchen I’ve remodeled and the first that has been fully remodeled. The first kitchen I remodeled was a total disaster because I was so focused on getting it ready to be a restaurant. I just never figured out how to fit a stove, fridge, storage space, etc. into a 20 square foot space. So, by the time I finished the kitchen, the previous owner had already begun to remodel the second kitchen.
I’m sure you have all heard the term “kitchen remodel,” but this is the first remodel I’ve done that has actually been completed. The previous kitchen was completed in about 6 months, but in my mind I was a lot further along than that. The previous kitchen had a little bit of everything, but in my mind was more efficient in my own kitchen. It was a total mess. It was not a kitchen I enjoyed cooking my food in.
The previous owner decided to go with a new floor plan and install new cabinets, and in my mind I was a lot further along in that renovation than I was in the kitchen. The new kitchen was a mess too, but this kitchen is much more pleasant to use. It is a much more organized kitchen, which is exactly what you want when putting together a new kitchen. The cabinets are not the greatest to work with, but I enjoy the space I have for the cabinets and the counter space.
Yes, the kitchen is a mess, but I’m actually really happy with the way it turned out. I was able to get the cabinets installed in the middle of the kitchen, so even though it was a mess, I was able to make do with it, and I was able to do it in a shorter time than I would have otherwise. I also found that I liked the size and style of the new cabinets better than the old ones.

The cabinets themselves are not bad, and the counter space is huge, but I don’t think I will be using them for much. Although I am quite happy that I have my counter space now, I was able to do a little bit of my own work on it. I chose to replace a few of the cabinet doors with one that opened out into the counter space, which I had no idea would be possible.
I am not entirely sure what I am doing, but I have absolutely no trouble using the new cabinets. The only thing that I am not entirely sure about is whether they will be useful for cooking, and if they will need to be removed completely for that to happen. Although I have to admit that I am curious to see how the kitchen looks like once they are gone, and I am definitely looking forward to seeing how the counter space looks once more.
The counter space is one of the most important places in any kitchen for cooking. In the kitchen I’ve been in the past few weeks the counters have looked very strange because the cabinets are all in place, and they are just not being used in any way. I would like to see how they are once I am done, but I can’t really ask because I have to use the cabinets.
