My advice would be to hire a contractor to do the construction work and just worry about painting the interior and exterior walls. You don’t really need to worry about a whole new bathroom or new kitchen, especially if you’re going for an existing look. That doesn’t mean that you can’t have a new kitchen or bathroom, but you may want to spend a little more on the other stuff.
Of course, we all should be thinking about the cost and the time it takes to re-create a space that has already been renovated. I know that’s not the case for every homeowner. But if you are in the market for something new in your new home and you want to spend more money and take more time, then the answer is to hire someone who specializes in kitchen cabinets and remodeling the interior of your home. Most contractors specialize in kitchens and bathrooms.
