I like to think that I am a person who is comfortable in my own skin. I have never really lived in a house with a master suite (or any other level of personal space) until now. I have a whole new appreciation for the art of interior design, and I also take it more literally than I have ever thought about before.
You might have noticed that I didn’t say “myself” because I’m not the only one who thinks that way. Most of my furniture is about as random and random as one can get, but this one is my own. It’s a jofran, so it’s named after my favorite anime show, but it’s also a literal representation of what I think of as human furniture.
I’ve always thought of jofran furniture as being on an even more extreme level than my own. While I think they are generally more functional than your average human furniture, they are also less “functional” than something you’d find in a home. I think of jofran as being “random.” It’s a place where you can put something that you like but that might be useless, such as a picture frame or a lamp.
