Actually, I think we should have spent more time worrying about how we are spending our money on home improvements when we were in the first 10 years of the New Millennium. We were a nation with an enormous debt load. It was a new century and we still had a lot of money in the bank. We were a nation of spenders, so we spent more on home improvements than we spent on anything else. We were spending on home improvements and spending less on everything else.
This is the point when the country would be better off if we had a return to a simpler time where we paid a little bit less attention to home improvement spending. We didn’t need to spend on home improvements, we needed to spend on health care for the elderly, or on education. When we are spending a lot of money on home improvements, we need to spend on something else. We don’t need a big house to live in, we need an education system and health care.
If we can have a simpler country, we could have a simpler home remodeling experience. The only thing I wouldnt mind, is to spend a little less money and do a little more research on what we need for our particular house.
