I’ve often thought that at least one of the things I love most about living in Portland, Oregon, is the fact that I can find everything I need to do anywhere in the city. There are stores, restaurants, and services that are literally within walking distance of my home. This is a great city in which to live, and I’m sure it would be even better if there wasn’t so much traffic.
This is true, but it would also be a really good city to live in if there wasnt so much traffic, because being stuck in traffic would only be a distraction. I think traffic is an overrated thing that can be avoided with just a little bit more thought and planning.
I guess the real question is, would it make it better? We don’t have a lot of options for shopping here in Portland, so the answer is probably not. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t alternatives. I live right across the street from one of the largest shopping malls in the country. It has a great selection of discount stores, stores that are open on Sundays, and other shopping activities. I think it would be a great city if it had less traffic and more transportation choices.

I think if we had more shopping options in the city, then maybe it would be a better place to live. I would definitely recommend it.

Another thing to like about Portlands is that it houses a variety of shopping and entertainment venues all under one roof. All of your favorite stores in town including The Container Store and the Portlands Mall Food Court, as well as The Portlands Mall Hotel and shopping center are all part of the same complex. You can also shop in the area’s other shopping centers, like the Westfield Main Mall and the Westside Mall.
The Portlands Mall Hotel & Park is a fancy one, and the Westside Mall is an even more upscale shopping and entertainment center.
