It can be fun to decorate our home with some of the best appliances money can buy. And this is the kind of DIY that has me asking, “Do I need to be buying appliances?” The answer is clearly “Yes!” Even if we don’t need all of these items that are in the family room at all times, it doesn’t mean we can’t have them when we want.
This is why I make it a point never to purchase unnecessary appliances. They are easy to fix, and the appliance is just a small part of the overall look. But what if you do need a new freezer? That is a hard question to answer, because while the appliance might be just a small part of the overall look, it can totally transform your home from the inside out.
When you want to upgrade your home, and it’s not in your budget to replace everything, you might want to consider getting a new refrigerator. When it comes to refrigerators, this one is especially important. Most people don’t realize that a proper refrigerator is a very important part of a home’s decor.
In the 1970s you could barely buy a refrigerator that looked good, in fact. That was when the word “frigate” began to take on a whole new meaning. Basically a frigate is a fridge that’s got a freezer on top. Its a huge part of any decor because you can fill it with ice cubes and then put some frozen food in the freezer. When you think about it, that sounds amazing.
The problem is in that refrigerator you can get a lot of frosty air coming out. That frosty air can freeze and cause ice cubes to be very hard. That would be a problem because when you put frozen food in there and it comes out of the freezer, you can’t just throw it out because its going to get ruined. You have to put it back in the refrigerator.
The cool thing about ice is that you can use it and it works just like any other liquid. You can pour it into a glass and it’ll just look like any other glass. You can pour it into a bottle and you can fill it with water and it will just look like any other bottle. You can pour it into a bowl and it will just look like any other bowl. You can pour it into a bucket and it’s just a big bucket of water.
Put it in a freezer, a freezer can only hold so much liquid. I’ve seen a freezer that was filled with 2 1/2 gallon plastic containers and an ice cube tray. You might as well just pour ice cubes into it and throw it out.
We’ve also seen a freezer that was filled with 5 gallon plastic buckets filled with water and a food processor (yes, a food processor!). To put it all together, you’d use a 5 gallon bucket and fill it with water, then set the food processor on top of it, fill the empty bucket with water, and finally fill the food processor with water.
I think the freezer idea is pretty cool, but I wonder if the containers would end up getting frozen and the ice cubes would get separated from the water.
They could. But you could also set it up on a countertop with a water dispenser and a refrigerator. It would end up looking like an ice cube tray. I think the containers would end up being rather dangerous as the water could easily freeze solid.
