The idea of down home construction is that you build a dream home and you have a wonderful time decorating, living in, and enjoying it. However, most of the time you have to rely on home insurance to pay for it all, and of course you will have to pay for all the building materials and your labor too.

There are a lot of down home builders out there and more and more people are realizing it’s not just a temporary fix for a bad situation. I think it’s safe to say that many people have been drawn in by the idea of owning their own home and being able to stay at home.

Now there is a lot of confusion about what is “down home” and what is “liveable” in the construction industry. To some this might be the “middle ground,” but to the rest of us, its not. There is a large segment of the population that has been stuck in a home-building limbo for years or even decades.

For the people I’ve spoken to about the subject, their definition of what is down home is an extension of “home-improvement” or “home-repair.” The term ‘down home’ is used to describe rooms that are built for a person to stay in. These are usually very clean and are not very expensive to maintain.

For the majority of the people Ive spoken to about the subject, their definition of what is down home is an extension of home-improvement or home-repair. The more I think about it, the more I realize that a lot of the people Ive talked to about home renovation are not very happy with the term down home. Some of them don’t like it because it comes from the term “down-home,” and I think that “down home” could be used in a variety of ways, like “back-yard.

Now that I’ve gone over the definition (which is admittedly broad), I think it’s fair to say that down home doesn’t necessarily mean “downstairs.” It’s more of a general concept to describe a room that you can stay in. I think I’ve made that clear. It’s also one of those words that has become an annoying catch-all.

I think this is a common issue, its the word that our ancestors used to describe a very specific type of home that is now often just a generic term for an entire class of homes. You can have a down-home kitchen, down-home bedroom, down-home living room, down-home bathroom… you get the point. It also comes up when people want to label a home that has a basement in its name.

This is exactly why the down-home movement has become so popular, it is a way to use words that don’t need to be pigeon-holed into a specific category. We’ve got the word down-home to refer to a group of homes that share some of the same features, however it is not the only word for such a home. For example, there is the up-home, mid-home, and even mid-home.

The mid-home, or mid-level home, is the most common of these three definitions. It is a home that has a similar size and layout to what you would expect to find in a mid-sized home. In the mid-home, the living area is relatively small and the kitchen is fairly cramped.
