I tend to avoid cookware that is overly chunky or has sharp cutting edges. I find these to be the opposite of what I would need, and I don’t really want them around the house. If I am in the kitchen, I will usually use a small knife, and I am willing to use a sharp knife, even though I don’t personally like it.
I think its really hard to find good quality cookware. Most of the cookware on my kitchen shelves is from a different company, so quality, and the way that the company sells it, tends to be very inconsistent. I have to say, I am a bit of a country kitchen cook! But I do think it’s important to have some cookware that is made by a reputable supplier. The quality of the cookware is the main reason I buy it, but the company is the second reason. You have to look for “reputable”. For example, I have a set of cookware that I bought for my mother in law.
I am not suggesting you buy cookware that is made in China, but I am saying that you must look for a good company to buy from.
