I have been remodeling my closet for about five years. I live with four other women and do a lot of packing and organizing of our clothes. I am trying to keep the clutter low, but it is always fun to have “the women” over for dinner. I love when I can sit in the big room and see their faces light up.
A lot of people are surprised to find that they are less comfortable in their homes when they have a lot of stuff. This is because space constraints often make everything feel cramped and claustrophobic. This is also why many people prefer to live in small houses with lots of natural light. It takes a lot of concentration and attention to clean the house each day, and this can be a challenge when you have people living with you.
People often say that their homes are “cluttered.” They might even believe it to be true for a day, but the truth is that most of us just don’t notice this when we move in. Our attention is usually drawn to the things that make our homes feel crowded.
The problem with clutter is that it makes us feel crowded. We become overwhelmed by too many things that we can’t possibly put into a tidy space. But instead of feeling crowded, we feel trapped by the clutter. So while clutter is good, in the end our only choice is to clean the house.
A closet is really a storage area. You might think it is a room with a door that we have to open, but its really more like a room with a door that is completely closed. This way if we do open it, we can easily access it and not have to carry anything. Just a couple of weeks ago, my wife and I decided to remodel our closet. For the first few days, we tried to change things on the fly.
Before we started, we just started with the basics like changing the size of our bed mattress. I know, it is a pretty basic thing, but it took our first few days to really get it going. We are currently working on adding the storage area we had planned to add in between the two walls. We are now hoping we can build this area out quickly.
I think it was really exciting to start at the beginning and see the progress we made. We’re excited to see how it’s coming together. We’re also excited to have the new bedroom, which is going to be a lot more fun. I think there are just a few things we wanted to work on. I’m excited to just keep working on it.
I think it’s been a lot of fun to be part of this crew. Our goal is to make sure we build the storage area before the end of the week. I think that we have some of the most potential we have ever had for a closet. Just waiting for the walls to come down.
I have to say we’re excited to be able to add a new closet. There’s a lot of cool stuff in there that we want to add. That room has had a lot of use already. We’ve been working on it for a month, so we’re really excited to be able to make it into a space that is going to fit our needs.
When we work on our own projects, we often run into the problem of how to make space. I think that it takes creativity and planning, and we don’t always have the time to make it happen. By adding the closet, we can finally do it right.
