I thought I was ready for a basement remodeling project, but I decided to redo the basement of my current home after a couple of years of neglect. I’m not a fan of basement remodeling and I thought my basement would have a bad time of it, so I took the plunge and completed my basement remodel.
The entire process of basement remodeling can be quite daunting, especially since you have to deal with the basement walls themselves. A wall can be a huge pain in the ass to dig out and replace. The first thing I looked at was what materials I would need to replace my drywall. I had been meaning to do so for years, and I knew I would need a lot of lumber, so I wanted to find a way to save money and make sure I got the best price.
I didn’t want to spend money on a contractor and not go with a good one. That’s why I went with a local company that had been around for years and had the largest price on lumber. They’re also the ones that have been around longer, so they knew what they were doing. That’s how I ended up getting a discount on the amount of lumber I would have needed. My plan was to go with a concrete block subfloor that was pre-finished and painted.
Concrete block and pre-painted concrete is the cheapest, most efficient way to build a basement. Just remember, this is only for the home you are building. If you are going to do a different home, you may want to look into some other materials.
So we ended up with a concrete block subfloor and a concrete block wall that was pre-painted to match. That was basically all we needed to do. We were able to finish the rest of the basement and have a nice walk-in closet.
We also decided we needed to change the outside of the house. I don’t know exactly how or why, but the previous owner had put up some really cheap, flakey, concrete blocks on the outside of the house. We decided to get rid of them. We decided to paint the rest of the outside.
The original owner was a handyman who lived in a small house in a small town in Norfolk, Virginia. He gave the house to his daughter when she married and she started on it herself. The house was in pretty bad shape, but he wasn’t aware of the condition of his original house until one day, he finds a pile of concrete blocks that were left behind by his daughter and decides to fix them up.
The block is actually a new construction, and its the first of many to come. Because of these blocks, the house will have a completely different look than ever before.
The story of the house is actually really awesome and there are a few scenes that will leave you in awe. The first scene, in particular, is really cool, because you get to see the house from the inside. The house is also super fun, because the developers have incorporated a lot of different functions to it. The garage has a pool table, the basement has extra bedrooms, and the kitchen has a bar, a small theater, and a TV.
Some of the changes to the house are actually a little weird. The basement is not really big, but it is an entire area in which to create more bedrooms. This is something that we had not anticipated, but which is probably for the best, because the basement is the most boring of the three rooms. The TV, bar, and garage are all pretty small, and it’s only in the garage that you can actually play pool. It’s kind of sad really.
