The first thing we did was remove all exterior and interior walls. We have a bathroom that is not even connected to the main house, so we removed all exterior walls and removed all the walls that surround it. We also removed a wall that was supposed to be the ceiling that was on the wrong side of a hallway. The basement floor was also remodeled so that the bathroom is directly on the main floor. All of these walls were removed to make the basement more open and inviting.
