I think that is what the phrase “do it yourself” means. In this case, its more important to get it done yourself than to hire someone to do it for you. If you want to clean the basement and have someone else clean it, then you should get someone to do it for you. You don’t need to pay someone to do it for you. Just do it yourself.
But if you want a professional, then it might be worth it to hire someone to do the job for you. I know the price tag is high, and if you can do it yourself, its worth it to have someone do it for you.
