The term apex remodeling is a new word that I was recently introduced to by one of my friends. At first I didn’t understand the term, but I was immediately intrigued by the concept that it’s the “most extreme type of remodeling”. I’m all for extreme remodeling, but I don’t think it’s extreme for the most part. I believe that there are two basic types of renovation activities.
The first is that of a true masterpiece. This is the type of renovation that can stand on its own. A masterpiece can be beautiful and sophisticated in design, but that’s the extent of what its capable of. A masterpiece can be an art form, but not so much that its limited to the world of art. A masterpiece can be an engineering feat, but that’s not so impressive as it can be used for everyday life.
The other type is the renovation that is not a masterpiece. That may be a great look, but if you don’t have a great idea for how to make it better, it will not be a masterpiece. For example, a good remodel can be a good idea that isn’t the greatest idea, but it isn’t a masterpiece. This is generally the type of renovation that is used for cosmetic purposes, especially for interior improvements.
Interior remodels can be a great idea. But if you dont have a great idea, if the idea is too much work, or if it is a really long process, then it will not be a masterpiece. A good example of this is the remodel of the master bedroom at our house. The design of the master bedroom was great.
The master bedroom, as we have found, is a great example of a remodel that isnt worth it. It is a great idea. It has a beautiful color scheme. It has a great closet. It has a great style. And most importantly, it was done in a really short time period. And it was done in an area that was not only vacant for a long time, but also one that was never remodeled.
At any point in time, some part of your home can be vacant for a very long period of time. Think about rooms that you had your eye on, but never actually did anything about. Take a look at the master bedroom. The master bedroom was one of our top choices for remodeling. The design and color scheme was fantastic. The closet was the most important part of the remodel. We had to fight many years to get it done.
As it turns out, the master bedroom was only one of a total of 17 that had to be remodeled. The other ones were bathrooms, basements, laundry rooms, and even one of the bedrooms. All were remodeled at the same time. The amount of time it took us to do the remodel was astronomical.
The master bedroom was a major decision for us because we had a lot of different ideas for how we would want to decorate it. We also had to include in the renovation a lot of things that we had planned on doing in the first place which meant that there was a lot of creative planning involved. But we also had to keep the door at the end of the room, which meant that we had to take the door away from the wall so that the floor would match the wall.
Apex remodeling is an extreme example of a remodel that is made so that everything that exists in the first place is still there. The walls and floor were not just painted but built, the ceiling was actually made by ripping out a piece of the drywall and then sawing it back in, and everything was re-installed. This involved a ton of skill and a lot of creativity. We’ve also been toying with the idea of giving the entire kitchen a makeover.
Apex remodeling is a great example of “how to do it right.” There is only so much a team of professionals can do to a home to make it look good so you really have to do it yourself. For example, Apex remodeling requires the most skill and experience to create an entire kitchen and bathroom so that the floor, walls, and lighting lines up with the drywall. It takes a lot of time and skill to make a house look like it was just painted.
