I love that this is the first time I have ever used a food dehydrator. I do not use an oven or stove. I use a slow cooker and a convection oven. The food is completely dehydrated in a non-stick pan that I will keep for a long time.
I can not tell you how much I love this. It is definitely a lot easier to create meals on a slow cooker. It is also much easier to get it right, so that it doesn’t go bad. For example, I have never used a slow cooker until I saw this. It is basically a microwave, but what I like to do is throw in things like chicken thighs, and it cooks them quickly and evenly.
Slow cooking is a big no-no for me, because I don’t have a really long kitchen, and a slow cooker is not something that I can easily take to the beach or anywhere else with me. But if you have longer, you can cook things that are more difficult to find in a slow cooker. So, if you can, try slow cooking.
Also, I have to say that bad. It is a slow cooker. If you can find one that has a touch screen and can be easily operated by your fingers, then try it.
