This one is a bit different from the other ones. It was a custom for a friend of mine that is the owner of a Japanese house. She has just completed a remodel and decided to do what she could to make it her own. She has a small collection of vintage, Japanese, and contemporary furniture that she uses in the house.

They also have very detailed trim around the edges of the cabinets, with a lot of intricate, hand-carved details.
The cabinets themselves are made from an unusual wood called teak, which is also used for furniture. Some of my favorite pieces from the collection are the hand-carved and hand-painted bedside tables. One piece features a very intricate, hand-carved, and hand-painted table top.
