We have a lot of home builders on our team, especially since the team consists of four people. Because we’re like a small construction company that’s building homes. One of the reasons we’re so successful is because we have an excellent track record when it comes to quality and customer service. When building a house, we’re like a plumber that builds a house. We do have the best track record with the industry, so we get a lot of good feedback.
Our track record of quality is one of the reasons we’re so successful. When we build a house, the team that is working on one of our projects, they can see what we are doing. They are able to see how the building goes. They can see the progress and what we are doing to make the home more attractive for the market. They can see the results.
In the world of home building, we have an “industry standard” of track record and quality, but we also have the ability to “self-correct.” If you want to make a house that is appealing for the market, you need to make sure that your track record of quality is as good as or better than anyone else’s. In our community of homeowners, we have a lot of people that are doing their best to out-perform.
The house builder has a big responsibility (to the community) to the market. If you’re not taking care of it, and someone else is taking it over (like a previous owner or a new contractor) you won’t be competitive. Because it’s a business, the house builder may not have your best interest at heart.

The main contractor (played by Kevin Spacey) is an absolute maniac.
The builder that got a bad review in the movie is the other type of builder. He’s small in the sense that he doesn’t have the same standards as the big builders. He’s trying to build a house in the worst possible way. It’s not quite as bad as the movie, but he’s still responsible for one of the worst houses in the movie.
