This is a story of an experience I had with a friend of mine that I hope can help others who are taking on a big remodeling project.
Actually, I was about to say that that was a real experience. I’m not sure that it is a problem though. It is still a story that I hope will help others who are going through something similar.
It is, of course, a story that makes you think about your own home remodeling experience. In the end, though, when you’re a homeowner it’s all about the experience of the job. If you are doing the job the best way possible, then you are probably doing something right.
I think I have a good idea of what Im getting at. I was just thinking about remodeling in general. We are not remodeling a house to make money. That is a little unrealistic when you consider a house is a relatively new investment. Im not going to claim though that I am a good remodeler. Im just saying I have done my best to do the best I could for my client.
I suppose you could say that your best isn’t good enough when it comes to remodeling. The whole idea of a remodel is to use your intuition and experience to design your space to your desires. You have to be able to make the design work, but as long as you stay true to your vision, your remodeling will be successful. I think this is why I like working with the architects on the Libertyville site.
I’m not sure if you’ve ever heard of the term “innovative design,” but I think everyone in the construction industry should know what it means. What it means is the ability to take a boring piece of space and make it better.
The architectural design at the Libertyville site is pretty darn inspiring, but also it’s simple. The site is comprised of a series of rooms that are connected by an “interior hallway.” The design is designed to be easy for the crew to work in, and the architecture is the result of a thorough survey of the site’s interior. The designers used this survey as a basis for the rooms’ interiors, which were then built on.
The space they had for the interior hallway was probably more extensive than they realized. The interior layout of the hallways is still very much a work in progress, but they did a good job of making sure the design was practical and easy to work in. It will be interesting to see how they do it next time someone wants to work on something with the same amount of detail.
The interior of the Libertyville Apartments has been under construction for almost a year now, and they’re still trying to improve it. The team spent a lot of time on the space before they went back to their workstation. They spent a lot of time in the room that was going to be the kitchen (they started with the kitchen and ended up with the living room), so the interiors were built to a higher level of detail than in previous years.
