Martin Schwartz, who was one of the first to design the first office phone in the US, passed away on January 28, 2013 at the age of 88. A proud member of the American Institute of Architects, Schwartz was also a co-founder of the architectural firm Schwan’s. He was also a founder of a company called The Schwan’s Group and he founded it in 1968 with a mission to improve the design standards of American building.
