The Lowe Furniture showroom in Santa Monica is a treasure trove of mid-century modern furnishings. The showroom gives you a great look at mid-century modern furniture from around the globe, from Sweden to Sweden.
In the late 1990s, the Lowe furniture store opened at a store in Manhattan’s Upper West Side. It was owned by legendary designer John Lowe, who’s the son of a fine manufacturer who’s been working on furniture since he was a child. Lowe’s dad got him into the Lowe furniture business through a number of companies, including Lowe’s own company, Lowe’s Mom.
Lowes mother was the head of the Lowe furniture business and her husband, John, who was also the chief designer, was the head of the Lowe family furniture company. John Lowe and his family first owned Lowe’s store in the 1980s and subsequently built Lowe’s after that.
John Lowe runs a small family furniture company called Lowe Furniture. As far as I can tell, most of his designs are either of the mid to mid-century modern/modernist kind, or he has a bit of a modernist influence.
Lowe Furniture has just opened up a new store in New York City, and they’re selling a lot of home furnishings in the more casual style. It’s a really nice, really interesting, and really well done line. But there are a few things that I think that are a little… well, I’m not sure exactly how to put this, but it’s a little bit too much like a high school prom.
I think its a very good line, but there are a few items in that line that really have no place in the current scene. Most of them are pieces that are built on the notion that its a good idea to buy a lot of cheap crap and have it sit in your home for a while. Its a really neat idea, but its not always practical.
I would argue that the line is the first piece of furniture that is built with the intention of being used as a piece of high-value junk. But that’s not to say that you should let it make that mistake. There are a few pieces of furniture out there that I would not want to put in my home. For instance, the sofa that just appeared in the line and the coffee table.
If you’re going to buy cheap crap, make sure you take it to a professional. Those cheap plastic chairs are made of cheap plastic. If you’re going to get a coffee table, buy it a professional to make sure it fits the space, and if you’re going to get a sofa, buy it a professional to make sure it doesn’t look like a piece of high-end furniture.
We love high-end furniture, but if theres a couch or a chair thats out of our budget, we like to think we have a bit of leeway to change it up. We like to think we have a bit of autonomy when it comes to spending our money. That is, we like to think that we can make our own choices and do our own shopping. Of course we don’t always do that.
The best thing about buying furniture is that there’s always a way to make it work with a few tweaks. That’s because we’re a small company with a very limited budget. So rather than letting us be locked into the “same” sofa we used to have, we’ve taken the liberty to do our own thing.
