The truth is, most homeowners would rather keep having their tubs full of water than have the tub filled with water. This is especially true when it comes to walk in tubs. After all, there is nothing worse than having water pour out of a walk in tub and onto your clothing and furniture. However, there are ways to save water and still ensure you have a great walk in tub.
One way to reduce your water bill is to use a walk in tub that has a drain in it. But that means you have to have a drain in your tub after you use it, and that drains a LOT of water. Of course you can use a hose to fill up your tub, but there are ways to cut down on that water bill and still make sure you have a great tub.
A walk in tub that has a drain in it is probably the best solution, but it creates another issue. The drain can come out of the top of the tub, and while that does leave a small space between the drain and the top of the tub, it makes it an even more difficult position to have a water leak.
The best solution for that, however, is to buy some new ones of these tubs. The most obvious thing you can do to cut down on water bills, besides buying new ones, is to change your tub design. The problem with the current walk in tubs is that they have a large drain in the middle of the tub. It’s almost impossible to use the drain for anything other than filling and draining your tub.
A new tub design will make the problem even worse. A new design will require you to change your tub’s configuration, which will in turn require you to replace the top panel and the drain. The new walk in tubs will actually make the problem worse. The drain itself is located above the top of the tub, and the tub will be sitting on top of it.
The tubs themselves are pretty useless, but they do have a drain hole in the middle so you can use that for something other than filling and draining your tub, like putting a showerhead in it.
