I visited home depot in michigan and made an online purchase of a large appliance. I was planning on calling in and having them help me pick it up. I didn’t realize it was a shipping company that could ship it to me. I didn’t know that I would have to pick it up in chicago, michigan.
That is actually true. Home depot has been moving a lot of products over the past few years. They only have one location where they ship to — so it’s not like they’re constantly putting stuff in the other locations. In fact, in a recent email to me they said that they actually had just a few more locations — “We are always looking for more locations for our locations. One of the locations that we do not have open just closed.
In its latest move, Home Depot has opened more than two dozen new locations including Boston, Chicago, and Las Vegas.
As a matter of fact, Home Depot isn’t the only retailer to have opened locations in the past few years. In addition to the ones I’ve already mentioned, there are a few places like Amazon that also have new locations.
To be honest, I don’t know all of the locations that were opened the last few years. However, I do know that Home Depot’s portmouth store in North Carolina will be open by the end of the year. To be honest, I think I’m ready to buy a new home.

Plus, having a great location for a major retailer is a great thing for cities. I think it’s a good sign that more and more retailers are deciding to open stores in the area as well.
