The neighborhood is also a bit of a hidden gem. It’s only a few blocks away from the Bellevue’s main street, so you’ll have easy access to the best spots in the area. That means you can walk right down to the Bellevue (which is about a 5 minute walk) and get an instant feel for the neighborhood without actually having to go through all the hassle of getting there (and I’m not just saying that to get a picture of the Bellevue).
It seems like the Bellevue is a bit of a hidden gem because the neighborhood is so safe. There’s not many people around, the area is really quiet, and there are a number of local businesses that provide quality services like a laundromat, a grocery store, a bakery, a barber shop, and of course, the local home depot. The fact that the neighborhood is so safe and quiet really helps this neighborhood.
Not to be a naysayer, the Bellevue is a great neighborhood to live in because there is a number of people on the ground that are willing to keep an eye on you. The police station is within walking distance, and the neighborhood is very safe. In fact, there are so many businesses, restaurants, and stores that provide services right here in the Bellevue that it really doesn’t seem like anything’s ever going to happen to you.
The only thing that could possibly happen to you here in the Bellevue is for a criminal to break into your house. Which is exactly what happened to my neighbor last week. The police were called because he was seen rummaging through a shed and found a shotgun and a couple of boxes of military-grade ammo. Apparently he had been stealing stuff off the shelves of my apartment complex.
The story behind the gun incident is that some of my neighbors are involved in professional baseball. One of them is a pretty good ball player, and the others are a couple of former baseball players. As I’m sure you’re all aware, this is very common here in the Seattle area.
