The funeral home was started by Doug and Susan Dahlstrom in 1990. They are the fourth generation of a family that has been in the business of running a funeral home for over 40 years. After purchasing the old home they turned the home into a funeral home in an effort to offer their own unique, personal atmosphere of service to their clients. The funeral home offers caskets, embalming, cremation, and funeral home cremation.

The new Dahlstrom funeral home is being built in a former funeral home. The funeral home is being torn down, and as part of the process, it will be torn down. The Dahlstrom family has been building a new home for a while.
