I’ve lived in my house for the past 3 years and I’ve found almost no animal shelter within walking distance. I’ve been able to keep my pets with me and spend a small amount of money to do so, but I’ve never felt like I was truly out of danger because of it. The few times I’ve had to leave my dogs behind and go somewhere with them, I thought I was going to die so it was really sad.
Well Ive been thinking about this for quite a while, and I think it is because Ive never really had a need to leave my house. Ive worked pretty hard to make sure Ive been safe and comfortable. When Ive left my house, Ive always left it better than when I came back. But Ive never really been out and about of my own accord.
The problem is that most people aren’t really aware that they are. So, when a person decides to leave their house, they don’t know they are leaving. They are simply taking the easy way out. If you are in your house all day, there’s nothing more annoying than seeing your pets running around so you can get back to work. Well, I was going to leave my house, but I felt the need to leave my dogs behind.
What happens is when a person starts leaving their house they are taking the easier, quicker, and more convenient way out. If you are living in your own house, and you leave, you are leaving. If you are simply going out for a walk, you are going out. The problem is that you no longer have an automatic way of going anywhere.

Bridge to Home Animal Rescue has a $5,000 grant at the beginning to help people with animals get a pet. They’ll also provide assistance for new pet adoptions, which is $5,000 for each dog, cat, and rabbit.
