The funeral director has been there for 30 years, the owner for 30 years, and the owners son for 60 years, which is how long the owner of the funeral home has been there.
Of course, there are a lot of businesses that have been around for a long time and are still doing well. They just keep going strong. There are also a lot of people who retire. You can’t really blame them, but it sure is a shame when they retire and can’t take the time to run the business they loved for so long.
The owner of the funeral home, who is currently retired and lives in a home in the mountains, had his own funeral and it was a fairly big deal. I’d say he was pretty popular among the dead people he’s served.
I think the most poignant moments of his funeral were the people that came to pay their respects. He had a bunch of old folk that just wanted to tell him that they loved him and were still there to see him. He had a couple of younger ones who said he was the greatest guy they ever knew. He had a couple of old folks from the company that he worked for. He had a couple of people that said they still loved him and wished him well.
