I am a huge fan of campbell lewis. I think he was a great man. I also happen to have two of his paintings hanging in my home. I was recently reading an article about his death and the article talked about his work and how you can’t help but think about him whenever you look at your possessions. My husband and I have these hanging in our guest room right now.
I am not sure that we should be focusing on a man who helped the world with the invention of the airplane. We should be thinking about the man who made a series of incredibly useful tools, but that wasn’t the most important thing about him. He was a man who had a talent for making things. He was a man who was so driven to create that he would never let anyone else do that job for him.
