Some people will take to painting their homes in black and white because it looks “balanced.” But if you look at the real world, the balance of colors is often the only thing that gets in the way of creating a balanced scheme.
I think you can get away with a lot of gray and black in a home because it becomes a “neutral” color. But that doesn’t mean it’s always a good idea. If you want a neutral color scheme you can go with black and white, but if you want a more “comfortable” color scheme you can use something like grey.
I have to say that I am really, really impressed with alfredo’s kitchen. It’s beautiful. From the design to the colors to the materials to the placement of the appliances, the kitchen is gorgeous. I am not complaining because I don’t want to throw it away. It’s going to take a while to redo. But it’s worth it.
