Muriatic acid is a naturally-occurring form of sulfur in plants that has become very popular for its ability to make your home look more like you’ve lived here all your life.
The most common application of muriatic acid is for muriatic acid stains on wood, furniture, and carpets.

The problem with this is that it does not work as well on concrete, brick, or stone. For one thing, the muriatic acid will also eat through the concrete. For another, the spray will also just wash away the paint, so you can no longer hide the stains.
I don’t have any experience with spray-on fabric, but it could work for the occasional concrete basement renovation.
Maybe if someone is really good at it though. One of the best ways to hide stains in concrete is to use stain-blocking primers. The primers help to minimize the amount of paint that you have to remove from the concrete. You can find the primers at places like Home Depot or Lowes.
Well, we had some concrete stains on our bathroom floor in our home, but we were able to go to the Lowes home improvement center and buy some stain-blocking primers. It wasn’t cheap, but it was worth it because it gave us enough protection for the walls and the floors.
If you want to hide your house, you have to paint it. When I got home and opened up the painting tool, I had the horrible feeling that I was having a hard time removing paint, but I knew that I would have to get at least the paint and the paint-slick to paint it.
I have to say that I’m not terribly fond of muriatic acid. I hate it because it smells like a dead rat and because I find it quite unpleasant to have on my hands and clothes. It also makes it sound like a horrible, noxious substance. But apparently the chemical is quite harmless. It’s an organic compound that’s been around since the early 1700s.
I’m not sure about the “dead rat” part. I have had a few cases where the paint has actually helped to remove the smell of my own bodily fluids, so I’d say that the chemical is harmless. The only problem is that it’s quite heavy and sticky, which makes it harder to get out of the way.
