This is my way of saying thank you for the wonderful comments and feedback I received from this past week. I have never posted on here before, but I was so touched by your words and comments. I am not sure how to express what I feel, but I will try.
This week the team at sutter home took on the challenge of building new wine cellars to honor the memory of their founder, Ron Sutter. He was a great guy and a great businessman and he passed away in June. The wine cellars were built to look like a wine cellar, so they made the best that could be made of the materials available.
The new cellar is the most ambitious of the three they built, but it’s not the most impressive. The previous wine cellars were constructed out of concrete and wood. They were fairly small, requiring the use of a crane to raise them. The new cellar is actually built out of concrete, but it’s larger and has a lot more depth, requiring a lot of manpower. It is built using the same materials as the previous cellar, and they are almost entirely recycled steel.
The new cellar is actually one of the most interesting and visually striking of the three they built. It is actually a pretty large wine cellar, requiring a big crane to get it up to the level of the previous wine cellars.
That’s a lot of hard work for just a couple of grapes, but we’re told that sutter home wine is worth it. Basically they’re trying to make wine that doesn’t taste like a crappy wine, but really feels like a great one. Like many of the other new releases, “sutter home wine” is the name of their new game. They want to make it feel like we’re in a wine tasting room.

So, in a way, I guess it is sort of like an alcoholic version of sutter home. Theyre trying to make a wine that tastes like wine but just taste like wine without being too watered down.
