I always like to say that any new gym equipment that you start using in the home, you should have somewhere to stow it.

A friend of mine was recently building a home gym and decided that because it’s not really a “gig” or “gym” or anything like that, it had to be packed away at home. He also had to have it packed away by a professional storage company because there wasn’t really any room at home to store it. So there it sat for months, until one day the storage company said that they needed it moved.

Well, good news was, it wasn’t in a storage closet. Good news is that you may be able to repurpose it for other purposes. The gym had to be shipped to a storage facility, which had no room to fit it, so the storage company had to move it. Good news is that it’s not a permanent fixture but just something to move around.

I mean, if you have a friend who needs a place to store their gym equipment, that would be a great place to store it, right? But the gym equipment storage company doesn’t own the gym equipment so they can’t just move it. So then they’re stuck with it. In a way, this also makes sense in that you don’t own the gym equipment, but you would own it if you had it in your home.
