The only thing that could possibly happen to you here in the Bellevue is for a criminal to break into your house. Which is exactly what happened to my neighbor last week. The police were called because he was seen rummaging through a shed and found a shotgun and a couple of boxes of military-grade ammo. Apparently he had been stealing stuff off the shelves of my apartment complex.

The story behind the gun incident is that some of my neighbors are involved in professional baseball. One of them is a pretty good ball player, and the others are a couple of former baseball players. As I’m sure you’re all aware, this is very common here in the Seattle area.
