I’ve been known to take pictures of my home and share them on social media, but I never thought I could do this with my own photos. I’ve always been a pretty visual person, so I thought I’d put together a gallery of photos that show my interior and exterior decorating process.
Thanks to the work of some amazingly talented people, the home decorating process that I do is pretty much perfect. I know that sounds like a cliche, but it really isn’t. It’s just the way I am.
I got a lot of help from several friends and family members who helped me improve my drawing abilities. Ive also been encouraged to do some research so that I can build a better library of images to use as reference during future decorating projects. Ive also been sharing a lot of my home decorating process with my Facebook friends and family to see if they find anything interesting there.
Ive also been doing a lot of work on my portfolio, and I have to say it seems to be doing a lot better. This means I have more things to show in the future. I just hope that when I show my work at trade shows it shows a lot more of my work than all of the images I have on my personal site.
I remember when I first started blogging, I said, “If I can’t show at least some of my work at trade shows, then I don’t want to show at all”. Now, I’ve met some incredible people who have all been inspired by my work and I’m excited to see what they have to say. Of course, I still want to have my own blog, but I’m starting to feel like I need to show more of what I do.
I recently signed up to do my first art show, and I think I may have been a little bit too eager about it, because I have a lot of work I haven’t uploaded. But I’m starting to get some momentum, and I want to get it out there. And hopefully, I can share some of my work with people.
I think that it is exciting to have a gallery with so many cool art submissions. In the last few weeks Im have participated in two of them. They were both very well received, with the art I had on my wall being selected as the winner for each one. I was also asked to contribute a piece to a show they were starting up called “Cult of the Weird”, which was very successful and allowed me some more visibility.
I’m always interested in learning more about the art and life of a given artist. I would like to see more art from people who have lived in the same area or are related to the same artist, and I would like to visit some of the galleries they have and get some art from them too.
Just like the art, I don’t really know a lot of these artists. I only know two artists that I was happy to visit and see their work. I saw some of them at the art show, but I was too busy to stay long. I would like to see more of their work. I also wouldn’t mind seeing art from people who I know, so I might be able to visit some galleries and maybe see some of their work.
I will probably visit most of the artists listed above at some point, but I also would like to visit a few more that I have heard of. Some of these artists might be very hard to find, so if you know of any artists that I should visit, please let me know.
