The bathroom is an area that many people struggle with. When we have a choice of colors or materials for a bathroom, we often think about the colors we want, but the materials we choose may not be right for the space we have. Sometimes we choose the wrong materials and we end up with an unsightly wall, or an interior that is neither functional or beautiful. In the end, we end up with a bathroom that is not as we wanted it to be.

As we discussed it in the previous section, the color of the walls you choose during a bathroom remodel can make a big difference in how the space will appear once the walls are all up. What a new bathroom will look like depends on how you want to accentuate your design with the materials you have.

Since we were trying to avoid going over a budget, we wanted a bathroom that looked as good as possible. So we were looking for a solid, dark-colored paint color to go with our light-colored walls. We were also on the lookout for a way to hide the walls to create a more “lived in” look.

For these two reasons we decided to go with Rustoleum’s Rustic Finish. We like the bright, bold, and modern look of Rustoleum’s Rustic Finish, so we decided to go with it. It’s a solid color, comes in a wide variety of choices, is easy to apply, and is inexpensive. We used it to give our bathroom a more distressed, worn and aged look.

Now that we have this look, we can see how much more we can accomplish with our little piece of heaven. Let’s just hope our landlord is willing to allow us to continue renting out our place for the rest of the year.

The bathroom remodel project we did to make our bathroom more beautiful took about a week to complete from start to finish. We painted a neutral color (the same color we used for the floor in our home office) on the wall and then created a few small accent tiles. We then covered the entire wall with a texture that looks like sand, and we applied a second tile on top of that. We used different textures and colors on the walls and floors to bring them together.

The finished project looks amazing, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Our renovation project will definitely make our bathroom a little bit more homey and nice.

The first thing we noticed about our bathroom when we saw it was the fact that it was made entirely from scratch. All the walls, floor, and counters were all painted and the ceiling was covered in mirrors. We also noticed that the floor was painted a dark red and the walls were painted a light green, which was a big change from the original colors.

This meant that our bathroom was going to be something a little bit different for our family. We will most likely have to paint our bathroom the same dark red that is on the walls. Since we are moving to a new place with a new decor, it is probably not going to be the best color for our bathroom anymore. But it also means that we can have the same great big beautiful bathroom for our daughter that we have been able to have in our new place.

I do think that it is interesting to see how the color has changed. This is the second time we have been remodeling our bathroom. The first time was more of a basic renovation as we were doing it for my boyfriend, since his old bathroom was in pretty crappy shape. This time I decided to do it because it was an investment in my future. I have a lot of new friends in my new job so I felt like I had to do something that was going to make them happy.
