In this podcast episode, I interview my friend, Dan, about his relationship with alcohol. As most of you know, Dan is a recovering alcoholic. He has written a book about his experience called, “The Drinking Game”. As a recovering alcoholic, I am very interested in his relationship to alcohol, so this podcast episode was a great way for me to talk to Dan about that and get to know him better.
Dan tells me about his drinking habits. What started as a small issue has escalated into a full-fledged battle between him and his friends. Drinking is a very personal thing for him. He has a drink with each of his friends every now and then, but he has always had a difficult time getting drunk. It has become a battle of wits for him, and a battle of who does it better.
I always think that the key is to remember that we all have a certain level of alcohol tolerance. Some people have more, some less, but everyone is different. A good way to keep yourself from going to full-on berserker mode? Set a reasonable limit on your drinking.
So, here’s how we do it: Set a certain limit on your drinking. And remember that it is only a limited amount of alcohol that you need.
Setting a limit is simple. For instance, if you are a regular with 10 drinks a day, then you can go to 10 drinks and not feel it. Even if you drink more than that, you don’t have to worry about it. So say you are a regular and you drink 5 drinks a day. You feel fine. So you go and drink 5 drinks, but then you go and drink 6 drinks, and you’re fine.
So how does this apply to our friends? Well, since Colt Vahn is an amnesiac and since he is in a time loop, we assume he is in a drunken stupor and we assume he keeps calling Colt and asking him to come to his house. And since Colt is the head of security, we assume he is also the head of security for all of these Visionaries. And since Colt is a regular, he probably also drinks.
This may seem an obvious thing to say, but alcohol can make some people appear very calm and steady. This can happen when people are drinking because they are drugged or because they have forgotten their own needs. Drinking can also make some people appear overly chatty to others. This is because drinking can seem like a “light” activity to some people.
This is a tricky one because a lot of people drink to relax, to escape, or simply to be social. If you drink yourself into a stupor, it’s easy for an observer to see that you’re in a good mood. When you’re in a drunken stupor, however, it’s easy for observers to see that you’re drunk.
This is why you can sometimes see people drinking and talking when youre not looking. Its because youre in a drunken stupor. How drunk you are depends on how much the observer can see you. A drunk person looks different from the way a sober person looks because the observer can make out the difference in their body language. This is why you sometimes see people drinking and talking when youre not looking. Its because youre in a drunken stupor.
Not only is it easy to see that youre drunk, you can also see that youre sober. We all get drunk from time to time, and we also all get sober from time to time. We can also see that we’re both drunk and sober.
