I have just recently built a new home, so I am super excited to get started on the basement project. I am so excited to have this first project to work on, but this project may be stressful for me. I have a lot of ideas in my head that I need to go through and figure out what to do first.
You certainly don’t have to go through your basement to finish it. But while it’s nice to have a clear path forward, sometimes it helps to have a plan in motion before you begin. This is especially true when you’re working on a smaller project, because you don’t have to worry about stepping on someone else’s toes.

Sure, you can use a hammer and a chisel to finish a basement, but you can also use a lot of other tools to finish a basement that will be a lot easier to clean later. I would recommend using a power riser to get the dirt and grime out of the floor before you start digging deeper. But once youve got the floor cleaned up you can usually go deeper into the basement.
I love when I get to see a basement that is actually finished. I don’t just mean that I see a basement that has been polished to a shiny finish. I mean that it looks so good that it makes me want to do the whole house over and get rid of all the extra crap in my basement. We’ve seen some pretty amazing basement finishes in our time in the game.
I do mean that when you see a basement that looks so well done, you want to make it your own. You want to decorate it to your tastes and make it your own. Thats why I love when I get to see a basement that looks nothing like any of the other basements I have seen in the game.
I mean that this is really a fun basement finish, but it also makes me think about the way our game plays out. Each area of the game has a specific set of rules for finishing the basement. Some areas of the game are more lenient (such as the basement in the first mission), whereas others are very strict (such as the basement in the second mission).
That makes sense when you think about it. When you finish a basement, you have to have the space to take care of the extra work that’s required to complete the basement. The rules of finishing a basement are determined by the area you’ve finished it in.
The rules of finishing a basement can be somewhat confusing because they are also determined by the area youve finished it in. Because the rules of finishing a basement are pretty much defined by the area youve finished it in, it seems that finishing a basement has a lot of variables. As a result, they are somewhat fluid and change from map to map.
Once you have your basement finished, you will be given the chance to move into the new space. As you move into your new space, you will be given the chance to complete your basement on an area-by-area basis. The more square footage you complete on an area-by-area basis, the further into your basement you can move. Because so many factors are involved, the rules of finishing a basement are not as clear as they might be.
