He was also a man of great generosity, and to the end he was able to give back to the community in a way that just made us all proud.
The oolman family, and the funeral home he was related to, were honored in a ceremony on Monday. The entire family was given a $100,000 check to help with the family’s charitable causes, and he was also given a gift of a new house. The oolman family is planning to erect a new brick home in his honor, which is great news for anyone that grew up in Chicago and still lives there.
