We all have a home heater. We may not know it or its function in the home, but we have a heater in our home. We do a lot of things in our house without realizing it, but it is our heater that does most of the work and the only thing we are aware of is the temperature. We don’t have a clue if the heater is on because we don’t have a clue if the temperature is high or low.

It is true that the temperature of your home is mostly subjective. But that doesnt mean you cannot adjust the temperature of your home. It just means you have to be careful in making the adjustment. If you set a temperature too cold, you might not be able to sleep with it on for long. If your heater has a small temperature range, you may have to adjust the temperature several times a day to stay comfortable.

To adjust the temperature of your home, you have to learn how to work the thermostat. This is a much more complicated skill to master than the temperature setting on your stove or the temperature sensor on your electric blanket.

Here’s a tip: the heater in your home may not be the only appliance that has a temperature range. If you have a gas/electric stove, your oven and your refrigerator may not have a range as well. You should be aware of the general ranges of your main appliances and know how to adjust the temperature based on the main appliance temperature.

The cold air coming out the vents or from the radiators of your home heating and cooling system can be a problem for many people. The reason is that the air is cold and wet.
